McGill Chamber Orchestra Concert

On September 2^nd at 7:30p.m., the Spanish & Portuguese synagogue hosted the McGill Chamber Orchestra. They performed a unique celebration of classical Jewish-themed music in honor of the synagogue’s milestone. Included in the selection of music was Max Bruch’s Kol Nidrei, just one week prior to the Jewish Holidays. The orchestra was  conducted by Maestro Boris Brott, and featured world-famous soloists Matt Haimovitz and Mark Simons. The concert was generously sponsored by Mr. Irwin Miller, in honor of his late parents,  Bess & Joe Miller Z”l . Over 400 people attended this magnificent concert in the Mashaal Sanctuary.
